Notes/History
Lord Farshad is the current “leader” of the Watchers representing the Great Beasts. Despite his human guise he is the second oldest of the watchers, the oldest being Tianglong. Endowed with great magic he is a highly reclusive individual. Always moving so “humans” do not realise his near immortality, he was brought to CLEA’s attention after the Leviathans surfaced and the agency became aware of the Great Beasts, Darklings and the Watchers. By tracking known watchers it was discovered that whenever a specific problem needed guidance they would head to the far east to seek council with Lord Farshad and make use of his wisdom.
To ordinary people Farshad had a position in the local community as a skilled engineer that was always on hand to fix things, mainly electrical making use of his knowledge of EM fields. Most are unaware that this is merely an elaborate disguise a means in which he can study humans without being noticed.
Though his Great Beast form, the Lightning bird is far smaller than that of the dragons, his power far exceeds his size. CLEA advises agents and allies not to underestimate him and especially not to anger him for the storms he can create can devestate vast areas.
